Property Details

An exciting and unique development opportunity to restore and potentially extend this charming traditional former coach house which is set amidst the picturesque Clyde Valley.

The property sits in the grounds of the historic Garrion Tower. Plans have been drawn up to extend and create a substantial family home which would enjoy views and access to the adjacent valley. The Coach House retains its lovely sandstone exterior and crow stepped gables and would make a lovely home whether it's extended or not in this semi rural setting. Please note that the current plans have not been passed to date.

The Coach House enjoys a wonderful private and semi rural setting at the Garrion Bridge within the Clyde Valley and located a short drive from the towns of Hamilton and Lanark. The Clyde Valley is renowned for its variety of garden centres and scenic walks. Winding its way from junction 7 of the M74 motorway near Hamilton to the historic town of Lanark. The Valley has several villages with basic shopping amenities, schools, parks, sports facilities and several pubs and restaurants. For those commuting by car the road network links with the M74 motorway both north and southbound and to the M8 motorway linking Glasgow and Edinburgh. Glasgow airport is easily accessible with the recently opened extension to the M74.

Travelling south bound on the M74 motorway from Hamilton, take junction 7 at Larkhall. At slip road end turn left on Lanark Road (A72) and continue until reaching the roundabout.
