Property Details

The Farmhouse is a stone built one and half storey property with conservatory and garage. Internally, the accommodation is extensive and flexible in layout with the option of an annex or holiday lettings if required.

Entered from the side door is the utility room which is generous in proportions with a good range of units, space for white goods and a stainless steel sink and drainer. There is the added bonus of a storage room and a WC both of which lead off the utility room.

From the utility room, there is access to an impressive kitchen with an abundance of wall and floor mounted units, integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, range cooker with electric five burner hob, hood and double oven. There is an attractive island in the centre of the room providing additional storage underneath. The windows provide lots of natural light and views to the garden.

The kitchen leads through to the dining room with a beautifully restored feature fireplace. There is ample space for a large dining table, chairs and sideboard. Door to the inner hallway which provides access to the conservatory, stairs to the upper floor, bedroom five and the well presented lounge.

The lounge is a charming space with a multi-fuel stove, fireplace surround and a window seat. Internal double glazed French doors to the large double glazed conservatory with laminate flooring, heating and ceiling fan. Access to the garden is given by way of French doors at one end and a single door at the other.

The property benefits from five bedrooms, three on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. The arrangement of the bedrooms is such that two of those on the ground floor (alongside the shower room), could be used as an annex or perhaps holiday lettings. All bedrooms are generous in size and two have fitted wardrobes. Bedroom five is currently used as a home office.

There is a large bathroom on the upper level comprising a three piece white suite with electric shower over bath and glass shower screen. The ground floor shower room has large walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Externally, double gates lead to a large graveled driveway with parking for several cars and a garage. The driveway leads to both the conservatory and the side door with access to the utility room.

There is a patio area to the front of the property and a recently laid decking area to the rear. Many of the gardens secluded areas make full use of the sun during the day and the open views. The garden is mainly laid to lawn with an array of mature shrubs, trees and plants.

The property benefits from oil fired heating and double glazing.
