A recent report by Savills reveals Glasgow’s economic growth rate exceeded that of the UK as a whole over the last five years. The real estate agents says mixed-use schemes will determine how residents live, work and socialise in Scotland’s largest city.
The report identifies four sites with the potential to become vibrant mixed-use city hotspots – Partick/Partickhill, Charing Cross, North George Square/Merchant City and Merchant City.
Bruce Patrick, Savill’s head of commercial and mixed-use development across Scotland, commented “It is a hugely exciting time for Glasgow.
“The building blocks are in place for the city to reaffirm its position as Scotland’s powerhouse.”
