New build in the North East of Scotland is booming. Within the last week it has been announced that the new investment has secured the next stage of Chapelton, Scotland’s largest planned new town.

Work is now under way of ambitious plans for a further 250 homes, luxury retirement village from Liberty Retirement Living and additional recreational, green and commercial space within the town.

And at Blackdog in Aberdeenshire, plans for a town centre including a regional food hall, cinema, hotel, leisure and business facilities, have been unanimously approved, completing the masterplan for the area to the east of the A90 trunk road and the junction of the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.
