Applications for the second wave of the Scottish Government’s Help to Buy shared equity scheme open on March 1, which gives buyers looking to secure a new-build home under £230,000 the opportunity to do so with only a five per cent deposit and a 15 per cent interest-free government loan.
However, housebuilder Stewart Milne Homes is offering first time buyers an additional incentive – a package that includes a choice of furniture, carpets, curtains and light fittings, plus a 40-inch plasma TV and home cinema system – for no extra cost.
This special offer is available on select homes at the following developments: Earl’s Green, Troon; Ardgowan Rise, Inverkip; The Courtyard, Dunblane; Laird’s Gate, Stewarton; and Hopefield View, Bonnyrigg.
