About Edinburgh

Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland is the second largest city in the country with a population of around half a million and sits on the Firth of Forth. It is an extremely picturesque and historic city with World Heritage status. Dominating the heart of the city is its famous castle which is bounded to the North by the New Town and to the South by the Old Town, both architectural gems. A wealthy city it is home to the UK's second largest financial services sector, and its annual Arts festival which is the world's biggest.
