CloseAbout SMS text alerts

Our SMS service means you can receive details of the latest properties the minute they're placed on s1homes wherever you are.

You're in control. You decide exactly what type of properties you want to be alerted about and set limits on how many alerts you get each week. You can change your settings at any time.

Our SMS alerts cost 10p-12p each. This is the lowest available rate in the UK and only covers the cost of sending each message - we do not intend to make a profit from this service.

Each alert includes brief property details plus a link to our mobile site. Follow the link for a complete listing including contact details and photographs where appropriate.

We take your security seriously. Before sending you any billed messages we send you a free 'confirmation code'. This code must be entered on the site to prove you have access to the phone. That way nobody else will be able to sign you up for SMS alerts you didn't ask for.

If you have any questions about our service please contact servicedesk@s1homes.com

CloseAbout RSS feeds

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It's a really easy way to get instant alerts straight to your desktop, and doesn't require access to your email account.

Why is it a good idea for me?
We now provide access to your stored searches via RSS as well as the traditional email format. Whereas email alerts are sent at most once per day, RSS feeds are constantly updated throughout the day - you'll find out about new properties within minutes of them being advertised.

Fantastic! How do I get it?
If you're able to install software yourself and there's not an IT department stopping you, then it's really simple! Select a 'news reader' from our recommended software list and install one of them following their instructions. If you're using the Firefox browser, you've already got an RSS reader built in!

CloseAbout iGoogle

Get the latest results for your s1homes searches on your iGoogle page with the s1homes iGoogle widget.

How does it work?
The widget remembers your saved searches on s1homes and displays the most recent properties as soon as you've opened up your iGoogle page.

How do I add my widget?
Make sure you are signed in to your Google account, run a search, and then select to receive the alerts "on iGoogle - instantly". If you've never used the widget before you will be prompted to add it to iGoogle. After that all your alerts will appear in the widget on your iGoogle page.

If you have already added the s1homes widget to your iGoogle page, then just click the "on iGoogle - instantly" alert after running a search. Any new alerts you create will be added automatically.

If you already have alerts set up and want to add the widget, or you have accidently removed it, then you can install the widget by pressing the Google button abovein the alerts section of your account.

An impressive, highly specified and beautifully completed, 3 bedroom detached bungalow in a central location with stunning views over the Firth of Forth.

12 Carlingnose Way has been thoughtfully designed to provide well proportioned accommodation with many of the rooms positioned to enjoy the full impact of the stunning views.

The house is in excellent decorative order throughout and has been finished to the highest specification. The open plan lounge/ dining room and kitchen is bright and airy and the adjoining sun room has full height feature windows with views over the garden and beyond. In addition to the generous reception rooms there is a spacious hallway and three double bedrooms, of which the superb master bedroom suite has fitted furniture and a spacious en suite with shower and bath. There is a large family bathroom, w.c. and utility room.

Garden:
12 Carlingnose Way sits within mature and well laid out gardens. The garden to the rear is laid to lawn and is surrounded by many flowering shrubs, bushes and small trees. There are two patio areas designed to make the most of the views of both the garden and Forth beyond. It is fully enclosed making it ideal for children and pets alike. The front has been imaginatively landscaped to create an impressive mature rockery style garden, planted to give year round colour.

Garage:
A mono block driveway, with parking for several cars, leads to an integral double garage with up and over electric door, power and a water supply.

12 Carlingnose Way was built by Manor Kingdom approximately thirteen years ago and enjoys, what can only be described as a spectacular location overlooking the Firth of Forth.

North Queensferry is set against the backdrop of the Forth rail and road bridges and is a small conservation village which has a long history as a ferry port and more recently has developed into a thriving community and tourist resort. The village caters for most everyday requirements including a shop, community centre, hotels and a primary school. There are two excellent restaurants in the village. Leisure facilities include a sailing club in the village with more extensive sailing facilities at Port Edgar. Fife boasts some of the best golf courses in Scotland, with the local courses at Dunfermline and Aberdour being within easy reach.

North Queensferry is an ideal commuter base with quick access to the M90 motorway (1.5 miles) linking the cities of Edinburgh and Perth. Inverkeithing railway station (2 miles) offers frequent trains on the East Coast main line, while North Queensferry Station runs regular trains to Edinburgh’s city centre. Edinburgh airport is also within a short drive (11 miles) and offers a full range of domestic and international flights.

There is a park and ride within a few minutes’ drive of the house with regular buses to central Edinburgh and throughout Scotland. Several of Edinburgh’s private schools, for example Stewart’s Melville College and Cargilfield School, run a dedicated bus service to and from Inverkeithing.

Directions
From the A90 take the first exit north of the Forth Road Bridge onto the B981 and follow the signs for Inverkeithing. Turn right onto Ferryhills Road (under the bridge) and into North Queensferry. Take the first left onto Carlingnose Point then follow Carlingnose Way down to the left. Number 12 is on the right hand side.
