4 The Square is a four-bedroom terraced house situated in the heart of the attractive Borders town of Greenlaw, which lies centrally to other market towns in the popular county of Berwickshire.
Located off the A697, the main route across Berwickshire, it also leads directly to the A68 which runs to Edinburgh in the North and Newcastle in the South.
Dating in parts from the 1600's there is a spacious outbuilding to the rear which offers an excellent opportunity for a wide range of uses. Currently used as an office with a gym, with generous storage, it could also provide annexed accommodation, subject to the necessary permissions.
Internally, the property lies across three levels and comprises four bedrooms, one with dressing room, a family bathroom, a large sitting room, a dining room, a breakfasting kitchen, a utility room, a downstairs wc, and a welcoming hallway accessed from the front vestibule.
The attic also provides additional and particularly useful storage in this deceptively spacious family home.
Externally, the property benefits from an enclosed garden ground to to the rear, with access directly from the rear porch. There is a lawn, a summer house and well stocked borders plus a path which leads to the outbuilding at the top of the garden. There is also access from the outbuilding to a track leading back into the village, and on-street parking immediately available.
