Central Scotland – including Perth, Fife, Stirling and Clackmannanshire – is driving Scotland’s property market according to the latest research from Savills, which reveals annual prime transactions to the end of March this year reached 458 – 14 per cent higher than the five-year annual average, with prices remaining stable.
Harry Maitland, from Savills Perth office, comments: “Country houses now offer extraordinary value for money and buyers are taking advantage of comparative affordability, particularly in locations within easy reach of the cities.”
