First and anytime buyers looking to purchase a new build property will be heartened by the recent news the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme is to be extended beyond 2019 with a further £100 million investment to help more people buy a new build home by providing up to 15 per cent of the purchase price (up to a maximum £200,000) as an interest free equity loan, leaving buyers to fund a five per cent deposit.
