The Scottish Government has announced the maximum property value eligible for the Help to Buy (Scotland) scheme will remain at the recently downscaled rate of £200,000 until March 2019, rather than the planned reduction to £175,000 due to be introduced on April 1, 2018.
The scheme, which helps home buyers purchase a new build property by contributing an interest free 15 per cent equity loan, will receive £195 million in investment between the current year and 2018/19.
