FROM kitchens and bathrooms, to bedrooms and basements, from fixtures and fittings to fine food, gardens and the latest gadgets – plus fashion, beauty and gifts – the Ideal Home Show at the SECC later this month truly has it all.
And this year from May 27-30, the event will break from convention to introduce the ARC home by Green Unit. If you’ve ever wanted a house that will eventually earn you money by selling energy back to the grid, this is the property for you.
Taking a leap away from the norm, the ARC is constructed from individual modules that can be designed and configured in any arrangement. Each module is hand crafted and made from natural and low impact building materials, making it one of the ‘greenest’ homes out there.
Also wowing visitors will be the Ideal Super Theatre, which is the centrepiece of this year’s event.
Representing each section of the show, the theatre will host talks and demonstrations from the nation’s most loved home experts.
With everything from gardening advice to renovation and planning tips, the theatre will be the ultimate place to pick up the tips and tricks to improve your home.
There will also be interior styling advice from top industry designers, technology know-how and even some of the nation’s best chefs will give culinary tips for your dinner parties at home.
The 2016 Ideal Super Theatre will have everything you need for the ultimate inspiration to create your own Ideal Home.
This year, veterans’ charity Erskine is hoping all visitors attending the 2016 Ideal Home Show will take a walk through history and experience the reality of WW1 from the perspective of the country’s veterans.
Gardens have been created so guests can take a walk through history.
On the celeb front, John Amabile’s room-sets will provide his unique visualisation of ideas that will bring out the best in your own home while the acclaimed Gregg Wallace Restaurant will give visitors a chance to engage in some fine dining – so get your tickets now and don’t miss out!
