CloseAbout SMS text alerts

Our SMS service means you can receive details of the latest properties the minute they're placed on s1homes wherever you are.

You're in control. You decide exactly what type of properties you want to be alerted about and set limits on how many alerts you get each week. You can change your settings at any time.

Our SMS alerts cost 10p-12p each. This is the lowest available rate in the UK and only covers the cost of sending each message - we do not intend to make a profit from this service.

Each alert includes brief property details plus a link to our mobile site. Follow the link for a complete listing including contact details and photographs where appropriate.

We take your security seriously. Before sending you any billed messages we send you a free 'confirmation code'. This code must be entered on the site to prove you have access to the phone. That way nobody else will be able to sign you up for SMS alerts you didn't ask for.

If you have any questions about our service please contact servicedesk@s1homes.com

CloseAbout RSS feeds

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It's a really easy way to get instant alerts straight to your desktop, and doesn't require access to your email account.

Why is it a good idea for me?
We now provide access to your stored searches via RSS as well as the traditional email format. Whereas email alerts are sent at most once per day, RSS feeds are constantly updated throughout the day - you'll find out about new properties within minutes of them being advertised.

Fantastic! How do I get it?
If you're able to install software yourself and there's not an IT department stopping you, then it's really simple! Select a 'news reader' from our recommended software list and install one of them following their instructions. If you're using the Firefox browser, you've already got an RSS reader built in!

CloseAbout iGoogle

Get the latest results for your s1homes searches on your iGoogle page with the s1homes iGoogle widget.

How does it work?
The widget remembers your saved searches on s1homes and displays the most recent properties as soon as you've opened up your iGoogle page.

How do I add my widget?
Make sure you are signed in to your Google account, run a search, and then select to receive the alerts "on iGoogle - instantly". If you've never used the widget before you will be prompted to add it to iGoogle. After that all your alerts will appear in the widget on your iGoogle page.

If you have already added the s1homes widget to your iGoogle page, then just click the "on iGoogle - instantly" alert after running a search. Any new alerts you create will be added automatically.

If you already have alerts set up and want to add the widget, or you have accidently removed it, then you can install the widget by pressing the Google button abovein the alerts section of your account.

An excellent brick built mid terrace villa, by John Lawrence, built in the 1960’s and located within the Stonedyke district. The property stands out from the rest of the terrace, having been freshly painted outside and having had its roof tiles de-mossed and recoated to create an almost new appearance. The house is double glazed, has a gas central heating system (new Worcester Combination Boiler installed in 2008) and there is a modern standard of sanitary ware in the bathroom, with electric shower over the bath. Kitchen fitments are of an older vintage, perfectly serviceable, and there is a rather nice feature of a living flame gas fire in the lounge. The accommodation comprises entrance hallway, lounge to the front with fireplace and, across the back of the property, the kitchen with built-in stainless steel four burner gas hob, electric oven and filter hood and a useful deep under stairs storage cupboard. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a very useful floored and lined attic storage space with velux window. The house has its own gardens both to front and rear, with a neat front garden and a large garden at the rear with lawn, shrubbery and patio, which is enclosed by fencing. There is an excellent local primary school nearby, Colquhoun Park is also about half a mile away and the facilities of Bearsden Cross are just over a mile away. Westerton Railway Station is within a five to ten minute stroll, providing a regular service into Glasgow’s West End and City Centre.
