A short drive away, the white sandy beaches of Gruinard Bay, Mellon Udrigle and Gairloch. Gairloch has an excellent 9 hole golf course and there are numerous boat trips from the harbour taking you to view the wealth of wildlife and cruise around nearby islands. There is an indoor swimming pool in the village of Poolewe and the well known Inverewe Tropical Gardens are just 6 miles away. High street shops, supermarkets and cinemas can be found in the town of Dingwall or further east in Inverness.
