FLASH FORMAT ADS - clickTag

Please note that our new ad serving software requires the clickTag parameter in order for us to track click-thru rates. You should include the following code on your click-thru button:

Important notes for Flash format expandable banners:

  • Your ad should consist of a single swf file - dimensions 468x300 pixels. The 'closed' state should occupy 468x60 pixels at the top of the ad. On mouse over, the expanded version should drop/animate in, occupying the full 468x300 space.
     
  • On the frame where your ad starts to expand, you must add the following Actionscript to your timeline.
    getURL("javascript:showExpBanner()");
     
  • On the first frame after your ad has fully closed, you must add the following Actionscript to your timeline.
    getURL("javascript:hideExpBanner()");
     
  • Your ad will be shown with transparency ON, so you should include a white/coloured layer as the background to your ad since the movie background colour will not be visible.
