About East Lothian

East Lothian is a flat rural area to the east of Edinburgh on the banks of the Firth of Forth Although primarily an agricultural region it is also popular with commuters. Notable towns include Musselburgh, North Berwick and Haddington. Amongst the well known local landmarks in the area are Tantallon Castle and North Berwick Law.
