About Glasgow North

Glasgow North extends outwards from the city centre and includes the northerly, affluent suburbs of Milngavie, Bishopbriggs and Bearsden. The area was always heavily involved in industry, with the Forth and Clyde Canal having once been an important aspect of the local infrastructure and economy.
