About Glasgow South

The area of Glasgow south of the River Clyde is often referred to as the South Side. The South Side includes areas such as Shawlands, Pollokshaws, Cathcart, Newton Mearns, Ibrox and the Gorbals. Home to attractions including Ibrox and Hampden Stadiums, Bellahouston Park, Pollok Country park and the Glasgow Science Centre, the south side of Glasgow is a flourishing and popular area of the city.
