IVY had a successful past existence as Park Road Estate Agents in Kelvinbridge for 4 excellent years during which more than 200 properties in the Glasgow area were sold with a stock value of circa £30,000,000. Park Road Estate Agents had an excellent reputation and generated most of its business via referrals and repeat business and the office location will remain a fond memory with some much missed neighbours and fellow business owners. The opportunity to take up new offices in Hyndland at 81 Lauderdale Gardens was an opportunity to good to overlook. Park Road Estate Agents Ltd acted as a consultancy company to a solicitor firm at Park Road however we have decided to go independent and due to the geographic nature of the existing name (Park Road) we have re-branded as IVY (which narrowly lost out as the name right in the beginning). We have retained strong links with the solicitor firm that all our conveyancing has always been dealt with by which allows us still to offer the one stop shop that so many clients see the value in.
We currently manage 50 high end letting properties in the west end area, people come to us because we offer a service that larger companies simply can’t, we have a small enough number of landlords and tenants that we can be familiar with everyone without opening the file. With our new premises and our new staffing scenario we have provision to increase our property stock from 50 to 75 whilst maintaining the same service level. The majority of our clients are private clients however we also act on behalf of large companies including Dundas the builders; we are currently the site agents for the remaining 2 properties at the very successful Victoria Park Mews development. We manage a portfolio of commercial properties for Spicerhaart conducting the security checks for insurance requirements, we have 2 development sites in the Park area with a total of 18 brand new properties coming to the market in 2012 (details available, now taking reservations).
