How much does it cost?
We do not charge for access to s1homes Mobile. The only charges you will pay are for internet access via your mobile phone network. We've cut down the file size of our pages wherever possible to keep your browsing charges down. As an example, if your network operator charges £3 per MB downloaded a typical s1homes mobile page would cost 1.5p to view.
What phones/devices does it work on?
The site has been tested and works on all UK networks* and should work internationally too. The site should work on any phone that meets the WAP 2.0 standard (most phones launched since mid 2004) and on any PDA with internet access.
*o2 i-mode users please note: The Store searches, Store properties and My Account functionality does not work on o2's i-mode service due to the way that i-mode handles cookies. However, the site should work fully on the regular o2 Active service. Three (3) users please note: We're currently awaiting activation on the 3 network, so you may not be able to access the site right away.
How to access s1homes on your mobile phone
s1homes Mobile is a version of the site that has been optimised for mobile phones, PDAs and smart phones.
How do I get s1homes Mobile?
- If you're using a mobile phone, simply text 's1homes' to 81444 and we'll send you a link to the mobile site. Your text will be charged at your usual message rate - we don't charge for the message we send back.
- Alternatively, you can access the mobile site direct - just open your mobile browser and go to
mobile.s1homes.com . - If you're using a Windows Mobile, Palm OS or similar PDA, open your internet browser and enter the address
mobile.s1homes.com . Note: If you're using a standard PDA you'll need a way to get online (e.g. a wi-fi hotspot). - Don't forget to bookmark our site once you're there!
