The Heights is an exclusive development on Ulladale Crescent, close to the heart of the beautiful Highland village of Strathpeffer.

The nine remaining homes at The Heights are all four-bedroom designs with a choice of three layouts: the Conon, the Beauly and the Peffery. All properties enjoy spacious accommodation throughout, large gardens, air source heating, fully integrated kitchens with separate utility room and built in wardrobes to all bedrooms.

Strathpeffer is a delightful Victorian spa village, quite unlike other villages in the area.   Its wide streets, grand architecture, beautiful gardens and many hotels hark back to its past as a renowned health resort, popular with European royalty. Today, the restoration of its Victorian grandeur, its splendid amenities and its convenient location for Inverness and the Highlands make it popular with residents and tourists alike.

Strathpeffer’s mineral waters can still be sampled at the original Pump Room, whilst the Spa Pavilion, overlooking the village square, hosts concerts, conferences, exhibitions, weddings and other functions and has its own restaurant.   Further restaurants and cafés are plentiful in the village, whilst several shops, including a chemist, post office, grocery store and supermarket, cater for day-to-day shopping needs.     An authentic Belgian chocolate shop and café offers chocoholics an added treat.   Residents also benefit from Strathpeffer’s Community Centre, which offers facilities for keeping fit, a host of community groups and clubs, adult education, regular films and a fortnightly village market.   The Strathpeffer Medical Centre is also nearby, providing the village with an excellent service within a purpose built facility.

Families with children will find Strathpeffer Primary School within a short walk from The Heights, next to the Community Centre.   Secondary school pupils are equally well catered for at the new £28 million Dingwall Academy which is 5 miles away.

Golfers will love the Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club which undoubtedly offers one of the most scenic golf courses in the north of Scotland, whilst those who simply enjoy the great outdoors will find this location hard to beat.   Set at the head of the River Peffery valley, surrounded by wooded hills offering many scenic walks, Strathpeffer is ideally situated to explore the Easter Ross countryside, dominated by the 3,433 ft summit of Ben Wyvis, whilst being equally close to the areas magnificent coastline.   For those who enjoy tradition, the Strathpeffer and District Pipe Band and local Highland dancers perform in the village square every Saturday in the summer, whilst nearby Castle Leod, home to the Earl of Cromartie, Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, is the venue for the annual Strathpeffer Highland Gathering, held every August.

Just 5 miles east of Strathpeffer, at the head of the Cromarty Firth, Dingwall is a bustling market town, steeped in history. Here there is a wider range of shops, larger supermarkets, a leisure centre and library. For an even greater range for shopping, leisure and entertainment, Inverness, the regional centre for the Highlands, is just 20 miles away.   Here on the shores of the Moray Firth, with the River Ness running through its centre and beneath its castle, the city offers a range of independent shops and high street retailers, a large indoor shopping centre and a Victorian market. It also enjoys a wide range of pubs, bars and restaurants, theatre and cinema.

Travelling by car, The Heights is situated on Ulladale Crescent, just off the A834. Dingwall is 5 miles east along this road, whilst Inverness is best reached via the A835 and A9, a distance of around 20 miles.

For rail travel there is a station at Dingwall on the Inverness/Aberdeen line, whilst regular trains from Inverness run to Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is also a daily link from London Kings Cross via York and Newcastle and an overnight sleeper from London Euston.

For air travel, Inverness Airport offers both domestic and international flights.
