Situation:
Carbost is home of the Talisker Distillery and central to the Cuillin mountains. There are large sandy beaches, forests and walks of varying degrees of difficulty all within a 5 minute drive. There is a very good modern medical centre, small shop and post office all within 200 metres. A primary school is also close at hand. Carbost has the use of the old Talisker pier for yachts and ships to berth, which is being upgraded this year.
