BELLWAY Homes Scotland (West) has recently unveiled two stunning new showhomes at its Lomond View development in Cambuslang.

Both spacious four-bedroom properties, the Kyle and the Arran-style homes, give buyers an insight in to the lifestyle on offer in a Bellway Home. The classic sandstone finish of these homes creates a feeling of solidity and class– a look which continues in the interior décor of the Arran.

Neutral and relaxing tones have been employed in the living room, where a fawn coloured, suede effect suite with chrome legs takes centre stage and is complemented by low slung, cherry wood storage units and a matching coffee table. Soft blue and brown striped artwork on the walls add a contemporary element.

From the living room, glazed doors lead into the adjoining dining room, which boats a chic glass-topped table with twisted wooden base. Earthy greens and browns in the soft furnishings in this room continue the neutral theme, while stone and green textured feature walls bring an element of drama to the look. Modern, chrome and leather dining chairs complete this room, and sliding patio doors give access to the back garden.

There is a good sized family kitchen/dining area in the Arran. Cherry wood cabinets are off set perfectly by chic black granite worktops and a stainless steel oven, hob and cooker hood and matching kitchen accessories. Cappuccino coloured floor tiles add warmth to the room, while a cherry wood dining set with clear plastic chairs is in a prime position to offer excellent views of the back garden, accessed via a second set of French doors. A utility room and downstairs cloakroom also feature on this floor.

Moving upstairs, an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity has been created in the master bedroom. Pale walls are punctuated with chunky pink stripes, while the crisp white bed linen has been adorned with a duck-egg blue throw, matching cushions and suspended headboard. Light, beech coloured furniture creates a fun beach-side feel and the master bedroom comes complete with fully tiled en-suite facilities.

The second bedroom has a much bolder feel, as chocolate and vanilla striped soft furnishings have been teamed with ebony, Japanese inspired storage units. Clean white walls re-emphasise the fresh look incorporated throughout the property and baby blue cushions add a splash of colour.

Bedroom three has an altogether more masculine appearance. A patterned blue feature wall is the perfect backdrop for white and grey soft furnishings, complete with matching throw, pillows and curtains in a blue circular design. Low slung, glossy black storage units complete the look. The third bedroom in the property has a refreshing feel to it. A baby pink corduroy throw with matching cushions is complemented by wave motif cushions and matching head board. A floral feature wall in toffee and vanilla hues with a hint of blue harmonises with the fashionable beech furniture. A fully tiled family bathroom with crisp white sanitaryware and full length mirror finishes this contemporary home.

Fraser Conn, sales and marketing director Bellway Homes (West) said: “Lomond View has already proved to be a hugely popular development.” Lomond View is situated close to the popular residential areas of Burnside, Cambuslang and East Kilbride. It is also only a short drive from Glasgow city centre. Properties at Lomond View are priced from £129,995 to £309,995. For further information or to view the two showhomes, contact the Bellway Homes sales and marketing suite, open from 10am until 5pm, Friday to Wednesday, and 12 noon to 7pm on Thursday, on 0141 646 1247.
