The concept of fractional ownership of a freehold holiday property has been in operation in Scotland for many years. It has become an established, effective means of securing a managed holiday property, low risk and at an affordable price providing you with a facility for future holidays at todays prices.
This is not time share. It is co ownership of the heritable freehold interest in a property and the land on which it stands forever.
Osprey is available to purchase on a fractional share basis. A number of quarter shares are available which entitles you to ?occupy the property for a quarter of the year. This quarter is not a consecutive block. It is divided into segments throughout the year. Our recommended scheme provides each owner with a share of the seasons with segment allocation that revolves over four years to ensure the seasonal share is exactly equal. Obviously, co-owners are free to exchange weeks by mutual agreement to suit their personal needs.
The Portnellan Estate has been privately owned by the same family for well over 35 years and offers fantastic facilities for you and your guests. We can even offer eggs from the ducks on the estate and a selection of organic meat products fresh from a farm locally. perfect for the BBQ or home cooking.
